When choosing your gloves you should think about what you need in terms of heat insulation and sensitivity in your hands: a bulkier glove will offer better protection against the cold while a slimmer glove will offer you greater sensitivity when riding.

In the case of leather gloves you should choose a fairly tight-fitting size as the leather will adapt to your hands with use.
